Bind And Fly helicopters come ready to go, but lacking a 2.4 ghz Transmitter. The idea is that you can keep collecting helicopters, but do not need to continue buying transmitters.
You only need a DSM2/DSMX compatible transmitter to complete it and get flying.
Most 2.4GHz transmitters feature multi-model memory. Each separate memory slot is used for each helicopter you have. You can build up a collection of Bind-N-Fly rc helicopters (and or planes) and use the one transmitter with them all.
Indeed, this is exactly why BNF technology was developed and this is alos why BNF is aimed at the intermediate flyer who already owns a decent transmitter with multi-model memory.
