Outdoor helicopters tend to be much larger and more expensive then the indoor type.
They have to be able to handle the wind so Co-Axial helicopters are usually not a good idea outdoors. The majority of the outdoor helicopters are collective-pitch, however that may not be a good place to start, if you have never flown a helicopter before.
