A inexpensive collective pitch flybarless indoor micro helicopter. It is perfect for intermediate flyers who want to learn collective pitch on a small helicopter. This is not a helicopter for beginners! Fixed-Pitch fly experience is recommended.
Blade MCPx is very similar to the Blade MSRx, which is also flybarless. MCPx has a higher rotor speed and is made of lighter components. This means it is less durable than the MSRx although it is quite durable for a CP helicopter.

Is this RC Helicopter for Me?
TheMCPx is a great introduction to for experience pilots. It is not a step up from co-axial helicopters. Do not buy this helicopter if all you flown is a s107 or similar. The local hobby shop does not carry these because beginners would buy them ( owing in part to the cool 3d videos online) and then not be able to fly them.
If you have a s107 or similar and are looking to more advanced helicopter, the MSRx is a better choice and because of the E-Flite Bind-N-Fly, you can later buy a MCPx and use the same radio.
ThemCP X/V2 (micro with the “x” referring to ‘s flybarless designation and the “V2″ referring to the second version) has got me so excited, it’s going to be hard to think subjectively while I write this, so I apologize ahead of time for not being able to contain my enthusiasm. This is by far the most fun you can have for under a couple hundred bucks!
This is not a good first helicopter. It’s extremely responsive and not as tough as an mCX or mSR.
Pilots who have mastered fast forward flight with the mSR or 120SR could upgrade to the mCP X but should be prepared to spend some time learning to hover, as it will accelerate away if not corrected frequently. Similarly, it will not stop automatically or return to a hover when the cyclic is released. Also, it will not tolerate as much abuse as the mSR and repeated crashes will necessitate repairs.
It’s entirely possible for a competent pilot to fly this heli in their living room, the controls are precise and it can be controlled accurately. However you will not be able to learn flips and inverted hovering indoors; a small park will give you room to recover and soft grass will cushion most crashes.
